Survey

Here are the results of our recent survey of twenty quiz venues from up and down the country, which we carry out annually. Nothing has really changed since our last survey, you've been quite specific in telling us just what you do and don't like about quiz nights. One notable result is that the entertainment and sport categories polarise people - they are the categories that you either love or hate. Overall, 'Geography' is the winner. It appears near the top of the favourites list, and near the bottom of the least favourites list, and was the most popular choice for the subject of the Ponderous Puzzle.

We also enjoyed your comments and suggestions, although we probably won't take up one team's suggestion of an entire round based upon 1970's British football. Mostly though, you reinforced that we have got things more or less right, although some teams thought the quiz should have ten rounds instead of eight. As if quizmasters haven't got enough to do!
