I have been working in Radio for 20 Years now, where I was the breakfast show host on Classic Hits for 10 yrs and am now more into the marketing side of things. Apart from hosting the very popular Believe It Or Not quiz nights in Gissy on a Tuesday nights, I sing at the same venue, The Rivers, Friday nights through dinner. My back ground in entertainment started as the lead singer for a local band, and I have had lead roles in lots of shows from Judas in 'Jesus Christ Super Star' to being the Dame in a local panto. Have been the MC three or four times for the Miss Hibiscus Coast, Miss Waikato, Miss Gisborne pageants and several Miss World New Zealand Beauty Pageants at the Sky Tower. Have been the MC at loads of town clock parties here, a high light was singing and hosting the Millennium Town Clock Party in Gissy 15,000+ people having a great time was awesome - I also hosted one year as Austin Powers. The list goes on.... I have had 4 years hosting at the Hamilton 400 judging the pit girl comp..hated that! I've been Father Christmas at Botany Downs in Auckland, also Santa here for the Christmas parade every year as well as Santa at Carols in the Park. Known for the odd Elvis impersonation to........I could go on and probably have sorry. I just love being out front of a crowd being involved making people laugh and enjoy the events in a fun and professional manner. I find being in front of a large of people a very good laxative. Don’t worry I bring my own bucket and spade.
